    Thanks for the memories Greg.

As a Braves fan, I am going to miss seeing number 31 out on the mound. I knew once we got him that he was going to be special. And special he was! Three cy youngs and many era titles, a world series ring and all those divisions titles, not to mention being apart of one of the greatest rotations of all time. I consider myself blessed to have been able to see him at his best throughout the years. I consider myself fortunate to have seen him pitch in person and be able to hear him scream obscenities when he didnt get the exact movement he wanted on a pitch. He is definitley my favorite player, as well as pitcher. I wish him the best in Chicago.

So thank you Maddux for all the good times. You are the best pitcher I ever saw.

I consider myself blessed to see him pitch against the Cubs in the first game at Turner Field - and to scream TRAITOR! at him while he was warming up.

As a fellow Braves fan, I also wish him the best in Chicago.

He's most likely the greatest pitcher I'll ever see in my lifetime. I remember the days of Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz...ahh. The '95 WS. All of those Cy Young Awards.

It'll be hard not seeing him pitch in a Braves uni anymore, but at least we have the satisfaction of knowing he'll enter the HOF as a Brave

I guess I can't call him a traitor/deserter anymore. He admitted a mistake and came back to where he belongs. Kidding. I am just glad to have him back.
