    Supporting a "dead" team

Well not dead already but to-be-relocated...
I am an Expo fan. This is their last year. They lost some major players this year. So there is nothing to hope for them. So what can a baseball fan do when his team'll be relocated? What team should I support? The Jays? Well it is tempting because it will be the only Canadian team in the MLB. But the Jays and Expos are rivals so i'll feel like I am betraying something...

So what team should I support?

Oh and I am getting MVP04 this year so I wonder if I should pick my fav team because
1- I hate playing in the Olympic Stadium (because of its uglyness)
2- It is sort of weird playing many years with a team that has only one year left.

    So any advice?

The Expos are like Rasputin they've eluded death at every turn. I don't really think this is the last year. I mean why the heck would they put fieldturf at the Big O if the team is leaving the next year for sure?

Anyways I would probably cheer for a team in the northeast. Maybe the Red Sox or the Mets.

If youre into the aesthetics of ballparks I wouldnt go with the Mets. Id take the Red Sox or the Royals since Montreal used to have a team called the Royals. Also, the Royals are also one of the little guys like Montreal. I tend to agree with SpTO though about the Expos remaining in place. I have not heard anything beyond speculation about where they are moving to. Ive heard Mexico and a couple of other places but that was some time ago. If they wait much longer they could really creat a clusterf*** for themselves. But then again, this is Selig were talking about. Im thinking hteyve already missed their window if they were going to adecquately plan the move.

Detroit, you get the challenge of the Expos with a prettier stadium (Comerica Park)...
