Re: The Rookie Class of \'04

    Just a couple of notes:

Freddy Sanchez suffered a minor injury.

Jason Bay would have to avoid pulling of a Nady since he's achieved quite a feat (8-RBIs) but only cashed in 3 that same month.

Khalil Greene would have to fight for his spot to be part of the rookie class in 04 against Ordonez and Vazquez.

    Nice analysis rsox.

Edwin Jackson looked great at the end of the year with the Dodgers. I think he's the real deal. He and Bobby Crosby are my front runners for Rookie of the Year in their respective leagues.

Twins rookies: Durbin is in a tough battle for a starting spot. I see him opening the season at triple-a. Balfour will either be the 5th starter or be in the bullpen from the start of the season. Bonser is probably a year away. Jesse Crain is the guy to keep an eye on. He could be the closer right out of camp with a dominant spring. Mauer.......he's the starter. I think he'll do well.

Just a couple of minor additions to the players we should see by the end of the season...
"The greek god of walks" Kevin Youkilis will almost definetley see a few MLB at bats this year with the Sox
B.J. Upton the second overall pick of the DRays in the 2002 draft is expected to atleast be a september call up.

                            Very nice write-up

I really want to see Freddy Sanchez play some but this surgery may keep him out until May. Also I think Bay has the potential to be a good player. He will be handed the left field spot and with a full year he could but up nice numbers.
