'Cause the Dodgers need pop, and he's got it. He knows it. Someone sure as hell knows it. I actually have to say it would be cool is Canseco came back and got his magic number, even with all the issues at hand. He did contribute alot to this game, and it would be kinda special to see him hit 500. I know I might be overstating it alot here, but dreams are dreams. I remember when me and my brother were just kids watching him, and my brother idolized the guy....gotta stick my neck out for him through it all, because of what he brought and how close he is to making history. Doesn't sound like history with so many guys poppin' it like it aint nothin', Palmeiro, Sosa last year, but it's still special to me.

That would be nice to see Jose back. But what's the chances of that really happening? Pinch Hitter at the most.Comment

The only way he makes this team is as a pinch hitter, theres no way he can play in the field. Though I don't see him making the team anyways.

Your right about there is no way he can play in the field. Anyone remember the baseball hitting off his head and going for a homerunComment

Ah memories, Cleveland's old Municipal Stadium, Carlos Martinez was the batter, 1993 was not a good year for Canseco, first the ball hits him in the head, then shortly after, he hurts his elbow trying to pitch in a game at Boston, which would end his season.Comment

he would have been fine if he hadn't made like 150 warmup pitches.
His whole story is really depressing. He was one of my favs as a kid. I got some plaque of him that's autographed, thinking that it'd be worth a ton when I got older. Now it's probably worthless.I'm sofa king, we Todd Ed.Comment

Canseco's trying to get to 500 HR and thinking that would get him to the HOF. With the way the game is changing i'm not so sure 500 HR is enough to get you in the Hall anymore."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell
