You know I didn't really believe in curses until last season. I'm not saying that I do but my God, not just the Cubs (by the way I'm a huge Cubs fan) but the Red Sox too. What could have and should have been the greatest World Series ever was another waste of a season. Who really wanted to see teh Yankees and the Marlins, I mean, seriously. But thank God the fish beat the Yanks. I was glad my team got put out by the eventual world champions.
And just for the record and just as Greg Maddux himself said after watching last year's NLCS "sometimes the best team does not win". That's what happened. And if you want to get on my *** for saying that then get on Maddux's *** too because he's the one that said it, but I totally agree with that statement. The Cubs, in my opinion, although it may seemed biases were the best team in baseball last year.Comment

I agree completely. If the Cubs would have faced the Yankees the Cubs would have won. Note that the Fish beat the Yankees in 6 while it took 7 to beat the Cubs. Nevertheless, I thought the Cubs were, in fact, better suited for Yankee Stadium than the Yankees themselves were. Plus the Cubs pitching was better than that of the Yankees. Its just too bad that a couple of people got hot at the right time for Florida in Beckett and Cabrera. Its not like it matters though since neither the Yankees or the Cubs won the WS.Comment
