I think everyone should zip it.

Has anyone proved that Bonds has taken steroids? No. Has anyone proven that he hasn't taken steroids? Don't think so.

There's no proof either way. Yet everyone seems to come to a conclusion that he is or isn't. Just let him play ball, it's not fair to Bonds that he's one of the greatest players of all-time, yet he's getting the rep as a cheater because of something there's no proof of.

If someday there's proof that he is or is not clean, then feel how you want. But until then, I don't think anyone should be jumping to judgement.

Steroids are out of your system pretty fast, so even if he or anyone else was tested, it wouldn't prove anything to me.

Well Bonds is legally right he didn't take anything ILLEGAL. He's just probably taken stuff that would give him an unfair advantage over other players. The MLBPA has protected the players so much re: performance enhancers that when MLB wants to crack down on said enhancers they can't because the MLBPA won't let players go through true random testing.

It's like the automobile inustry having a policy on drugs in the workplace but the UAW being too beligrent that they won't allow any kind of streamlined testing. It's not against the law for Bonds to take enhancers but it would be against the ethical coda for baseball. In the end tho it's just not enforcable because of the Union.

This shows that no matter what information comes out that could possibly exonerate Bonds, everyone already has their minds made up regarding his guilt or innocence. I am pretty sure that Bonds' persona does not help his case but, until some concrete proof comes out I think people should hold their hypothesis to themselves.
