This season seems to have flown by much faster than in seasons past for whatever reason. I feel like I was just at Citizens Bank Park for Opening Day.

Definitely rooting for the Pirates in the NL and obviously the Rays in the AL. Sweep those Red Sox!

There have been times where I face the opposite situation, but I still pull for the Yankees opponent. Rule of life.

Soriano has been an absolute godsend since he's returned to the pinstripes. 15 HR in his short time in a Yankees uniform this year. I knew he'd have an impact, but I never dreamed it would be this big.

And in a small sample size, Mark Reynolds has been big for us on offense as well. I'm sure he'll change into Hafner soon, but it's been a boost.



Btw Reynolds hit a ball tonight that was just a bomb, I have never see a ball hit so far on the left field side of Camden Yards. I'll post a video when I get a chance. But that thing was a taxi cab ride and more.

Edit: Yankees beat Baltimore. TB lost, and Cleveland lost. A good night.

As a former catcher I think my favorite play in baseball is a catcher making the perfect throw on a steal. The ones where the 2B/SS barely has to move his glove after making the catch to tag out the runner. Thing of beauty!
