Wow...I thought Texas had today's game sewn up.

Y'know if the Rangers blow their lead (AGAIN!) and miss the playoffs there's going to be calls for Ron Washington's head. I'm not sure if it'll be completely deserved but Washington has always been a guy that's managed to win in spite of some of the strange decisions he makes. He's like the AL version of Dusty Baker.

Man you guys got this all wrong. The Royals are going to storm back, clinch the Central, Indians surpass the Tigers in the biggest choke job ever, followed up by the Orioles somehow pulling it off and winning the 2nd wild card behind the Indians.

I just want some freakin awesome drama coming up baseball after how crappy the NL has been in that department.
I mean, right now 8 teams in the NL will finish below .500. Possibly another team in the Dbacks could make that 9.
Compare that to the AL, 6 teams will finish below .500, no other team seems like they will unless they go on a massive failure here to end the season.

The Rays are now tied with the Rangers in the Wild Card with a big 4 game series coming up starting tomorrow with them. I'm currently in Tampa beginning my vacation this week and will be at Tropicana Field tomorrow and Thursday night! Hoping for some exciting baseball from the Rays.

And one of just a handful of occasions over the last few months that I actually got excited during a game.

Playing spoiler is all we've got left, even if it is against a team I want to see in the playoffs.

The Red Sox tribute to Mariano Rivera was incredible. I would have never expected that. Wow. Hats off to you Boston.

3 against the red hot A's, then four against Tampa, and 3 against the Royals.

The Orioles schedule is terrifying. 6 games left against the Red Sox, and a four game series against the Rays.

I really think this is gonna come down to Tampa, NYY, and Cleveland.

The Indians have a creampuff of a schedule coming up, their destiny is really in their own hands.

                              This is gonna get crazy.

I don't think they have the testicular fortitude to do it, but KC is very alive too, they could really shake it up with Cleveland, and then they play a flailing Texas team, and then it's really breezy after that.
Our schedule could work out to our advantage if we play well. I'd rather have chances to take games directly from them than have to scoreboard watch every night.

That's very true, anything can surely happen, but playing the Red Sox right now is not a good thing, that offense is on steroids right now. They have to cool off, but that might be the most dangerous team to play right now. I would not want another 6 games with that team right now.
