He was also a teenager.
He's been the same size he is now since he was in his early 20s. Back in 95-96 is when he got big, and he still only hit like 30 HRs a year until he changed his stance in 98.
And he's still pretty fast - a helluva lot faster than Bonds. He could steal bases if they needed him to. But he's in his 30s and he's a slugger now. They don't need him to be Juan Pierre.Comment
