We need a June draft thread

Looks like the Padres will take Jared Weaver from Long Beach State and possibly put him into the rotation this season or most likely next.

Anyways, back on topic. The Padres definitely have to get another pitcher in this draft, and of course Weaver is the front runner. Also an interesting note someone pointed out elsewhere is that they also need to draft a CF.

Definitely. I never caught the fact that other than Stanley and Guzman, we don't have a CF in the minor leagues.

Definitely. I never caught the fact that other than Stanley and Guzman, we don't have a CF in the minor leagues.
