    PTBNL

Ah, the old "player to be named later". Involved in so many trades... but which PTBNL has had the best major league career? Any ideas? (there's no "correct" answer, just an open ended question).

Well...lets see, John Halama was the PTBNL in the Randy Johnson to Houston trade in '98 and he has had a decent career, it's hard to say because more often than not, the PTBNL is named after the season, and most times we don't really get to find out who they are because a lot of times in a trade it's a PTBNL or cash, a lot of teams of course, take the cash.

I could be wrong, but I think Dontrelle Willis was a PTBNL. Granted he hasn't played more than one season, but still
