    Please Help OS guys!!!!

I've been offered Brian Giles and Chipper Jones for Barry Bonds. My outfield right now consists of Magglio Ordonez, Garrett Anderson, and Barry Bonds. Giles would replace bonds and Chipper would replace my utility(Edgar Martinez). Do I make this trade?

Yes. Giles will get many more RBIs then his years in PITT, and I really have no confidence in Bonds staying healthy the whole year. Chipper is also a good pickup. I would take it.

Let's see, Barry's good for a .340+ average with 45 homers and drive in 120 with 100+ bb's. Giles in a healthy season can hit for .300+
with 30+ homers and drive in 105+ with about 105 bb's. Chipper Jones can hit .300+ with 30+ homers and drive in 105+ a year with almost 100 bb's.

In total, Bonds .300+, 40+ HR, 110+ RBI, 130+ BB vs. Giles/Jones Tandem of .300+ (combined), 60+ HR (combined), 210+ RBI (combined), 200+ BB (combined), if I was doing the trade, I'd go ahead and do so.

                      Be careful with Giles:

PETCO Park is already getting a bad rep. with players for it's 411 foot right-center power alley. That's Giles' stroke spot. That being said, he is batting in front of a healthy Phil Nevin.

It's a chance. Giles is up and down, Chipper is normally good for average/power. You know what you get with Barry, especially with him chasing Hank Aaron.

Chipper is on my fantasy squad, and I still say know. You don't trade superstars in fantasy.

Nevin's power stroke is to RCF too. If they won't hit homers there, most likely they'll get doubles, maybe even triples. Giles hit one out in that exhibition game SAT at Petco, pulled it to RF, between the alley and the short porch in RF. Don't count out "Death Valley" in RCF because the wind is supposedly blowing in the lefties favor, something that will be determined after several games at Petco.

One thing you gotta love about the lineup that Giles is in is that he's between two good hitters, Loretta, and a healthy Nevin. Loretta and Nevin could sometimes draw right-handers in the pen at times, which Giles has good success against, while vice-versa with Nevin hitting between Giles and Klesko.
