Speaking of Jays prospects, I read last night an article about how the Jays had selected Kris Bryant in the 2010 draft.....'cept they ran out of funds to sign him.

They also drafted Aaron Nola and Jon Harris. Teams do this all the time except Sportsnet conveniently doesn't mention that since the Jays' media is literally the worst in the entire league.

I honestly think that baseball drafting is all luck, IMO. Because I have looked for the hell of it at most of these draft classes and seen where top players get drafted and most of them aren't in the first round. Like Pujols was somewhere between rounds 10-20. Pedroia was a compensation pick. Gallo was a supplemental pick. Daniel Norris 2nd round pick. Edwards for the Cubs 48th round.

Well you can't really look at it like that because high schoolers slip to the 20th round and sign for 1.5m overslot.

No problem, it's just a picture from Instagram. Someone was doing team logos with the team's area codes and it got featured on a prominent site (I forget which) so I grabbed the Jays one, as Toronto's area code is 416 mainly, hence "The 6ix" or whatever Drake feels like naming the city today. I recolored it though, the blue was really light

MLB is biggest guess draft out of any sport. So much happens from time someone gets drafted until big league career if they reach it. Guys like Biggio,Donaldson,Werth,Konerko for example were drafted as C!

Nothing is even close to guaranteed in MLB draft.

Even 1st overall pick isn't a lock to be a great player. From 91-98, Pat Burrell was the 2nd best player taken 1st overall(Arod 1st). And in Burrells situation,he was taken 43rd round just 3 years prior! And lets try to remember who guys like Tim Beckham,Luke Hochevar,Matt Bush,Bryan Bullington are(some 1st overall picks since 2002)

Like I just said. High school picks.

TV ratings for MLB teams so far this year.

                      http://www.forbes.com/sites/maurybro...programming/2/

They didn't include Jays, but I think from what I saw on Jays numbers,I don't know about Household rating, but viewership wise,it'd be around where the Padres are(around 20th in the league).
