pertinent info from the article I read:

Toronto police have arrested a man after a baby was hit by the spray of a thrown beer can at the Blue Jays game Wednesday.

Police say the baby was with her mother in the front row of the Rogers Centre when the can was tossed their way.

Television cameras captured a teary woman holding her baby shortly after the incident. Const. David Hopkinson says the baby wasn’t hit by the can and is OK.

He says charges are expected against the man but none had been laid as of late Wednesday night.

It's kind of amazing considering they hadn't been to the playoffs in 21 years, but the Blue Jays have the most recent World Series win out of all the remaining teams.

Yeah it's crazy that whoever wins the World Series will be ending a championship drought of at least 22 years.

The Cubs haven't won it in 107 years. The other 3 teams have been in existence for 137 years combined.

Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez continues to rehab his image and will be part of Fox Sports' studio coverage through the World Series.

Honestly, I think he just loves baseball too much. He probably spent that year off and was bored to tears without being around the sport. He's obviously very passionate about it, which is why all of this has been so hard for him. not the public scrutiny and ridicule, but the inability to be around the sport.

I know that, I just would like for the Alex Rodriguez chapter of my life to be over once he retires. I don't want a repeated liar, notorious cheater giving analysis on my TV.

The sentiment goes for you too, Rose.

I agree but I think A-Rod needs to take 5 years away from the game just so that his haters can forget about him then he could go in the booth. I actually think he has a wealth of knowledge and despite all his baggage i'm sure he has plenty of anecdotes and stories to tell while doing color.

I feel like A-Rod could be decent as a studio analyst. He can be well-spoken and engaging when he wants to be.
