    Chipper rescues Freddie Freeman.

When Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman tweeted that he had been sitting in traffic due to a snowstorm for 5 and half hours, Chipper suited up in his finest camo snowsuit, jumped on his matching camo ATV and hit the streets to rescue his former teammate.

So who won the World Series in 2013? I honestly don't remember. I haven't followed the league in quite some time.

Frankly, I blame it on the Cubs/Padres game I was forced to witness live in person in Chicago in 2012. And the Show being exclusive to Playstation.

I've watched 2 random games involving the Mets, and in both of them they are wearing their blue alternate jerseys. They NEED to be in The Show this year.

Also, I'm almost positive Vin Scully could commit multiple crimes in LA, and he'd get off.

Speaking of Scully, he'll be calling the opening series in Australia! A part of me worries a bit about that what with the long trip, time zone differences and such it could take a LOT out of him at his age.

All that separates me from sweet, sweet spring baseball is the state of New Mexico. But I just can't afford to make the trip.

Gotcha. It is about a 6 hour drive for us. This year will be our 4th year in row that we will travel to AZ to see the Pads...

I've got credit with Southwest that needs to be used by the end of March. I'm kicking around the idea of using it on a quick spring training weekend. My girlfriend however is trying to convince me to use it towards Jamaica. Southwest starts flying there and Carribean this summer.

I'll def go this year as I do every year. I used to live in Phoenix and I have gone to a game at every Cactus league park in AZ (I miss AZ). I'll probably go catch the Dodgers spring opener in Glendale. I'll def go to big league weekend here in Vegas as well when the Cubs play the Mets.

I will say though, if I ever do make the trip it will have to be Cactus League even though the Sox are stationed in Florida. I could catch the Rangers. It's 11 hours to Surprise from here, but 22 hours to Ft. Myers. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Also, the last pitch from the last 23 World Series. Don't watch it if you're a Braves or White Sox fan, because the guy somehow couldn't find the last pitches from 95 or 2005.

That was awesome…even as a Braves fan

1994 was also missing…oh wait, thanks, Bud

BTW - I didn't realize until watching that between 1991-2001 FOUR of those World Series ended on walk off hits (1991, 1993, 1997, and 2001).

                            1993 still stings.

2008 still gives me chills every time I see it.

If scientists ever invent the T-800s from the Terminator movies in real life, they'd be perfect home plate umpires. They'd call balls and strikes with 100 percent accuracy, and no pitcher, hitter, coach or fan would ever dare cross them.

Interesting read, even if it does originate on bleacher report.
I want to see the calls made right, but not from a robot.
