re: MLB Off-Topic
Its inevitable. The city of St. Pete will not let Sternberg out of the contract at The Trop, and he has said he will sell the team if he can't get a new stadium. The first thing a new owner would do is move the to a new city. Then everyone in the area will miss out.Comment

Yea it's pretty much a matter of time now before the RAys are moved, sad as there are great fans down there but the stadium is a dump and on wrong side of the bridge. Maybe a team returns to Montreal?Yankees
Giants
Knicks

I think Montreal will get the Expos back. What other city in the east has any shot? Nashville would've been a thought if they wouldn't have just built the Sounds a new stadium. Any ideas?Comment

re: MLB Off-Topic
Were they AL before they moved to NL? They were NL I know...cuz that's how the Nats ended up in the NL and of course they'd rather have 1 NL and 1 AL in CanadaComment

re: MLB Off-Topic
The Expos were always an NL team. I think that was a typo on 13's part. As far as any other option on the east coast there has always been a smattering of talk of having the Rays move to the New England/New Hampshire/Connecticut region but considering the source (Peter Gammons) I don't think that was/is ever likely.Last edited by SPTO; 12-22-2014, 06:26 AM.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

You just gotta love fans of teams that don't really make the playoffs on a every year or 2 occurrence....Royals sign Alex Rios to be in RF and ppl are absolutely freaking out saying they won't make it to the playoffs for another 30 years and want to fire Dayton Moore haha. You would think you'd b confident in ur GM after what just happened but nope! lmao. They probably won't even sellout 80% of their home games and then wonder y the Royals won't spend money.Comment

re: MLB Off-Topic
ya....but that's Cleveland tho. Cleveland is just a depressing sports town in general. When u have 3 major sports teams "racing" for the 1st title in a 1,000 years that's a problem haha.Comment
