Padres revealing their new uniforms today at 7 pm. Stoked. I've seen leaked pictures of the home uniforms (Pinstripes) and Road uniforms (Brown tops, maybe alternates?).

I'd prefer the SD logo on the side versus the big Padres wordmark but I love it otherwise. Great look.

Heard a rumor (with legs) that in 2021 Nike will design concept uniforms for every team to wear. Think like the NBA City uniforms, but for baseball. We will see if it happens, but there is talk of it.

Expect teams like the Tigers and Yankees that don't have alternates to have them if this happens.

Tan instead of gray for the road uni's. I like. Hopefully ESPN or whatever networks won't bastardize these by altering their broadcast hue to make it look like piss like they did with the sand uniforms.

I don't mind anything about the Padres design there, but call me a ***** over the yellow-brown look. I loathe it. Give me the navy blue they've had, or blue and orange.

The Nike logo doesn't help, but that would be on there regardless.

I think the navy blue looks better, but there's so many navy teams already, it's nice to have the Padres rocking some unique.

Is it just me or does the tan (instead of gray) give the jerseys an old school look? Like when the jerseys were made of cotton. Reallllly like it. Maybe it’s giving me the “old, worn film” look of classic baseball. What game was it that let you play in washed out color?

The brown/yellow is relatively unique in sports, they did a great job with these. Modern and classic. Perfect.

Definitely dont wont to see We The North on Blue Jay jerseys but Hogtown has a nice ring to it lmao

Robots getting closer to the majors.

I said it before, I would even be ok with a compromise.

Automated strikezone is only used for determining if a pitch is over the plate or not. Regular umps could still determine if a ball is high or low.

The plate is the only fixed part of the zone, regardless if Trout or Altuve is batting, it's the same. Height isn't something you really can use a fixed robot system for, especially when guys of same heights have different crouches too.

Sadly, I feel this could be set up to flop like other tech we've seen in sports. Look at replays. It's a great system, but all these leagues take several minutes at times, using 10 different HD zoomed frame by frame shots to determine something that fans at home can clearly see within seconds. They were meant to fix these obvious blown calls, but has turned into a joke at times.
