    Memo to Lloyd McClendon:

    GET RID OF BOEHRINGER!!!

Enough with this "this guy has pitched for years, so he gets the benefit of the doubt" crap. He sucks. Period. To come in with a one run lead in the 8th, fail to retire anyone and WALK IN the tying run is inexcusable. If I were in charge, I'd cut him. The guy seemingly hasn't been able to get anyone out since the 2002 All Star break.

It's all the more frustrating when your team fights to come back, makes a great play on the bases, and your rookie left hander comes in and strikes out two of four batters.

Oh man... I remember that guy... he was on the Padres a few years back. He sucked really bad. Maybe the Pirates want another horrible reliever... interested in Antonio Osuna?

dont feel too bad....did you happen to notice whose pitching staff gave up a svelt 18 runs yesterday to the new "powerless" Braves?

maybe McClendon should think about stealing the pitching rubber this year

His stealing of the base has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a baseball game.

I'm actually somewhat secure with our bullpen for the moment, with the exception of ol Gopher Ball. It just seems like Mac keeps making excuses for him. He just wasn't hitting his spots or somesuch nonsense. I wish he'd just figure out that he blows.

                      Gotta' love that.

                      1 Game, 1 Loss, 0 Innings, 2 Hits, 2 ER.

He used to be pretty decent from 1999-2002. ERA around 3.60, good for around 80 innings a year, but I agree, he doesn't have much left. He isn't very good at all.

LOL...that was truly a classic baseball moment....definitely more entertaining and original than watching so many managers copy the Billy Martin kick dirt all over the ump routine
