I was shocked that he DIDN'T get cut along with Beimel. Not only are we stuck with him for the time being, but we also have to pay him for the whole year (unlike Beimel).

We sent Sean Burnett down so we could keep Boehringer?

Yea we would have to pay him the whole contract which would be one reason to keep him around in Littlefield's eyes.

Sean Burnett won't be down for long, he'll be up for the first injury or when Benson is shipped off whichever comes first

Edit: Vogelsong is pitching tonight, 1,2,3 in the first with 2 K's

I KNEW I should have started Vogelsong in my fantasy league

***Keeps fingers crossed*** Man, has he looked good in ST and tonight or what!?!? I think I heard on DVE this morning that he almost averaged 2 K's/IP in ST. I really want to see this guy do well because he was the key piece in the Jason Schmidt deal.... Oops, just saw he gave up a HR to Lieberthal, but other than that has been real good.

Vogelsong has looked really good only mistake was that he left a breaking ball up that Leiberthal just squeezed inside to foul pole.

Offense on the other hand is lacking, Mondesi chases a pitch and K's with the bases loaded.

Yeah...Mondesi hasn't done squat so far. I'm thinking he'll turn it around though.

Looks like it didn't take long for Mac to put in Mackowiak at third either...
