Somebody needs to teach Melvin Mora how to get in front of the ball. "No more of this 'Ole!!' [censored]!"

    I love that movie!

    At least the O's won!

That was terrible, I feel awful for Jones as he was hung out to dry (50 pitches for a guy who is primarily a left-handed specialist). The ump was calling that 3-2 pitch he made to Matos a strike all night. And that 2-2 pitch to Bigbie was strike 3, no doubt about it.

I think he was your last pitcher (besides Mendoza who wasn't going to be used in case he would be needed in your home opener). Pitches were close, but it goes both ways. There were pitches to the Sox hitters that weren't called strikes.

the best team won, thats all that matters

tough on the Sox though, with their home opener this afternoon after that marathon last night....wonder what kind of lineup theyll send out there?

Their lineup will be the regular one. Half of the starters were out of there by the 11th inning. Lets hope Arroyo can go the distance, our bullpen needs a break. I also heard that Mendoza was unable to pitch due to tightness of soem sort, so Bobby Jones was our last pitcher. He was pitching straight on fumes, wasn't getting any calls either.
