You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm not a downright ***** of Bonds, but ESPN needs to seriously get off his balls. I really would'nt be suprised if they showed the next 20 Giants games till he hit that HR ball.

The bad thing is, if he hit that ball last week, they would'nt of shown that game yesterday. ESPN is putting one man over the entire league and its getting anoying as hell. After Bonds gets his ball, then ESPN will continually be on the Yankees nuts for the rest of the season.

Even if he juiced up in the past, how does it help him put the bat on the ball?

It doesn't. You're witnessing one of the best hitters in the history of the game. Enjoy it.

I agree with both...the juicing aspect doesn't help him actually hit, just might give him more power...

However, I'm tired of seeing all these Giants games on ESPN too

It makes his bat alot quicker. You look at a guy like Frank Thomas,Mo Vaughn to some extent and even Mike Piazza, their Bats aren't getting any quicker as their getting to their late 30's yet Bonds' who will turn 40 this summer, is.

They're making entirely too much out of this. I'd see if he were going for #1 but he's not. I dont wanna turn on the tv and see the Giants play everyday. I'm not a Giants fan, I'd like to watch them every now and then, as I do with all teams. But when you show each game of a teams series just because of one dude, you're putting a single man above the game of baseball and thats just not right. You have 30 other teams, use them.

Exactly, show me something other than Giants and Padres. The only good thing that came from all of this was that we got to see Clemens' and Pettite's debuts for the Astros. Even if we're watching one of baseball's all time greats, we can all clearly see that right now he isn't playing like one. Lets watch the struggling Bonds take on the San Diego Padres, the NL's Kansas City Royals only with better pitching and less excitement. I will say I enjoyed watching Peavey pitch while he was in there last night, so some good has come from this. That kid's fastball has some nasty movement on it. It would start inside on some lefties and finish outside while humming at a crisp 92. That kid might be something special.
