2 hrs for cabrera, eight shutout innings for penny. Too bad i couldnt see it cuz the expos dont draw freaking tv ratings. oh well it was still exciting on 560. Go fish

Cabrera is suprising me. I mean, he hit 12 homers last year in half a year, so naturally I'm expecting maybe 20-25, possibly 30...you're telling me in a week and a half of baseball he has 5 jacks? I'm impressed. I know it won't continue, but it's a nice way to start the year, gets everyone to thinking maybe he wasn't overhyped. If he hits 25 now I'll be impressed, but if he hits over 30 I'll be bowled over.

Also like to point out that we are just where we left off... in first place in the majors. And 5 games in front of the phils in the nl east.

At the beginning of last season, i thought our only weaknesses were hollandsworth and bullpen, and we managed to fix those. I also didnt like the firing of torborg, but that seemed to work out.
This season, if our pitching holds up, we have a serious shot to repeat. And our bench is much better than last year.
