You're 5/5 MSU, 5/5. Yes, first creating the Padres > Dodgers thread (Pffft). Then posting something about sweeping the Giants, which turned out to be an embarrasing loss. And after Eatons Quality Start Tuesday that ended up being a win, you jinx the starters by boasting about their combined ERA, which is probably 4.00+ something now the B-Law and Wells have given up 10 Earnies.

4-5 looks good huh? Put an asterisk there. Now let me do the talking before you jinx them again.

A cold Arizona team is coming by the weekend, well, I wouldn't say cold since they snapped out of their losing streak. What makes it even worse is that they have the Big Unit on the mound against Peavy. Should be a good pitchers duel IF the starter jinx does not reach Peavy. I say this offense has no chance against the Big Unit... especially how they're swinging the bats (I don't care about that .286 team batting average, no clutch hits except from Burroughs).

I'm not known for predicting games, but it'll be either one of these three:

Pitcher's Duel, AZ wins. Most likely will happen.
Jake Peavy gets rocked, Johnson pitches no-hitter, AZ wins. Probably.
High Scoring Game, AZ wins. Possible.
Johnson gets rocked, Peavy pitches a QS, SD wins. Slim Chance, has happened once.

our chances of winning are 1/4. Johnson has been a Padre-killer, but he's shown age recently, but you never know.

I can't belive how they built this team. They go out and get power hitters yet they create park were no can hit a home run. Pretty dumb if you ask me. I think LA looks good. Milton Bradly and Juan E. are going to help this team plus they have Gange at the end. I know it's early but the Pads got me worried they always do well aginst LA but things seem to have changed this year. It looks like 3rd place if I had to guess now. Plus what is up with the bullpen Eddie Orspera needs to go and Jay W. needs to get someone out. Linebrink is the best MR pitcher they have which is sad.

Pretty dumb is saying something dumb like that. They didn't know how the park was going to play until they, uh, played in it. You're going to base a possible 19 games played against the Dodgers on just 6 games? I never take the first 3 weeks of the season seriously at all. Do you really think Giles will hit .150 this year? I guess Ted Williams better look out because it's quite clear that LoDuca will hit .460. Hell, Trev blew his first save and almost his second, should they let him loose as well? Klesko's better days are clearly behind him with that paltry .250 average, I think it's time to see what the Padres can get for him. Payton was a worthless pick up. What's he hitting, .170? Get rid of him. Come talk to me in May, until then, zip it.
