5-2 win for the Sox on Saturday, Schilling was terrific and Mussina was awful. So at the very least the Sox will get a split which is what they needed to do while Nixon and Nomar are out. Lowe will try to get the series win for the Sox tomorrow against Contreras who hasn't pitched well at all against the Sox in his brief career. Monday should be a guaranteed win for the Yanks with Brown facing Arroyo.

Moose was awful but Schilling was not exactly terrific. He had control problems today as well. But if you think that is terrific, I will take that come October.

Mussina was bad, but he still battled through it and at least kept it a game. Where is the offense? How many scoring opportunites are they going to squander?

Right now it's the same problem as last year. No clutch hitting.

Time to trade A-Rod for the rest of the MLB.

                        its early......

.....but the skanks just look flat...absolutely no team chemistry.

jim kaat had a great point on YES last week..he said to the effect that 'with HR hitters (what the skanks have) its all or nothing...and in post-season usually nothing'. he went on to say they team reaaly needs/misses guys like tino/o'neil

again...way too early to dismiss them--offensivly
Bummed that you're not on my ignore list yet?.....Don't worry, I'm sure you will be very soon.
