Nah, he's right. Like Stoney was saying in the 8th inning. Good teams find a way to win games late that they shouldn't, and bad teams don't. He was talking about the Cubs, however it ended up being the Reds that pulled it out.

Dusty did his usual over use hit starter too long (131 pitches in April!!!!), but I give credti to the Reds for taking advantage of the situation. I just hope we get the rubber game...or wait this is a 4 game series right?

That pitch was outside. Wood shouldn't have been out there. The umpire made the right call under heat.

I was surprised that the ump didn't throw him out earlier in the inning when Wood was yelling at him. I have no idea why Baker likes to overuse his starters.

Actually the looked at those pitches on ESPN's "K ZONE" on Sportscenter and it turns out that Wood was right. They were strikes.

But that doens't matter much to me, cuz he shoulda been outta there anyway. Too early in the season to be throwing that many pitches.

NOt even K-ZONE was needed. After the Slider, they showed it from above and behind the plate, and it had 3 inches of plate, it was a strike, and the ump screwed up.

And the pitch count thing. I'm not worried, he's young, he did a lot of work to get more endurance, and I'd say that was good for him. Most of the time Kerry is around a 100 after 6...so....
