obviously, the Mets are in a "hitting lull" right now, and that will change...they started off hitting better than anyone (realistically) expected, and now theyre doing worse....to be fair, anything in the neighborhood of .500 baseball for this season has to be considered a success....but first one very, VERY important thing needs to happen.....Art Howe needs to develope the slightest clue as to how to deal with the pitching staff....too many times this year hes gone to the bul;pen because thats the "thing to do" and its been a stupid and poorly calculated move....or the other side of the coin when hes stuck with a particular pitcher too long...now, i suppose its possible that its a carry-over from Oakland, where those pitchers were the types who could pitch themselves out of a jam or situation....this staff is NOT like that, and its time he and Peterson realize it...ok, im done now
