The Giants biggest problem is-they always say they don't have the money to spend on free agents, The Giants are 10th in the National League in payroll at 82 mil., Barry Bonds, the teams highest paid player at 18 mil, makes twice as much as the next highest paid player, Robb Nen.
The Giants over paid for Ray Durham and Edgardo Alfonzo (big time on Alfonzo!), they only brought Snow back because they needed someone to play 1B, if this team is going to be competitive and stay in the race Brian Sabean will have to work his annual trade deadline magic, the league might be pitching to Bonds right now, but when this lineup gets exposed for how weak it really is that will stop, and they'll go back to walking Bonds 2-3 times a game.
