Sabean's gonna have to make some moves cause they really are struggling withthe bats right now.They got too many players on the downside of their careers like Tucker,Grissom and even Durham.If they don't wake up soon,the Rockies will catch em'.At leats they have Barry!

Heh, Grissom and Durham are both 3-4 tonight I believe.
You know who I can't stand is Snow. Already grounded them into two double plays today, disallowing Bonds to bat in that inning.
The Giants so far lead the league with 21 double plays that they have grounded into (Brewers are 2nd with 15), ALONG with their ONE sacrifice fly.
Pathetic.

terrible job in free agency also keeping snow has hurt them too. i agree unless major changes are made too pitching and hitting its over for 04 also how do u pick up two pitchers who were first and second in the majors in giving up homers (tomko and franklin) in the same off season? terrible sabean terrible!Comment

Snow is one of the best defensive 1st baseman since Don Mattingly,.As bad as he is with the bat,his defense will save a run or two every few games.The RF position is where they really laid an egg and probably should've just kept Jose Cruz JR.Might be time for the Giants to rebuild and start drafting more position players rather than pitching all the time.Comment

The Giants biggest problem is-they always say they don't have the money to spend on free agents, The Giants are 10th in the National League in payroll at 82 mil., Barry Bonds, the teams highest paid player at 18 mil, makes twice as much as the next highest paid player, Robb Nen.
The Giants over paid for Ray Durham and Edgardo Alfonzo (big time on Alfonzo!), they only brought Snow back because they needed someone to play 1B, if this team is going to be competitive and stay in the race Brian Sabean will have to work his annual trade deadline magic, the league might be pitching to Bonds right now, but when this lineup gets exposed for how weak it really is that will stop, and they'll go back to walking Bonds 2-3 times a game.Comment
