I think the guy has a lot of integrity for admitting this on his own before the draft. Not only that, but the fact that he took the initiative to admit it makes him sound more credible when he describes this as an instance of poor judgment during a timw when he was short on cash.

Ironically - this makes this guy more of a role model than the vast majority of athletes and celebrities who only discuss their skeletons after they are in the National Enquirer.
