After the Sweep of the lowely Mets that is 6 wins in a row and sole possesion of 1st in the central. I know it is early in the season and I should not be enjoying this as much as I am, but screw that!! I suffered for a long freakin time as a Cubbies fan I am going to enjoy this. If you have not kept up with the CUbbies, let me update you.
The Starting pitching has been Filthy even without Prior there, but he is very close to starting his re hab time so everyone beware.
The Hitting, oh my the Offense is just scary right now. 6 guys that can go deep in the lineup almost every game, if you make a mistake to them they willput up 5 runs like it is nothing.
The defense has been very solid, Aramis Ramirez is becoming a stud at third.
Bullpen: Just flat out nasty bullpen, they have been hit very few times and all of the pen is pitching well, even Borowski has turned it around.
So overall this team is much better than last years Cubs team, much better and can hang with any team in the league. I do not care if the schedule is weak right now, this team is good. Fellow Cubbie fans holla back at ya boy.
