umpires are going to make me stop watching MLB games, i swear. Also this whole " don't show emotion" crap. i wish that every time a player hits a HR, they showboat the pitcher. Every time the pitcher strikes a batter out, they showboat the hitter. i know that what happened to Elias is something not that big, but i'm just tired of this. It's time for them to quit being babies. No wonder baseball is not that popular with today's youth when you compare it to Basketball and Football. GROW THE **** UP. CELEBRATE EVERY SINGLE PLAY, EVERY SINGLE S/O, HR, RUN, ETC.

This small thing just drove me nuts. I guess i'm tired of seeing it. I hate it when umpires think that they better than the player. sorry for my rant. I know that it didn't have to do with umpires, but i just had to take it off my chest.

That was a great throw by Cano to cut down Fuld at the plate.

Indeed. Wouldn't have been needed if the umpire would've called the obvious third strike that was right down the middle in the previous at bat.

No excuse, but rookie ump, 1st plate assignment. He's had a couple bad ones. Missing that curve over the heart is just embarrassing. Led to first hit for A's too.

Not trying to criticize here or anything but you think that celebrating like they do in football is "mature"? Because I understood that you think they need to grow up and celebrate instead of acting as gentlemen, and good sports. This is just my opinion but how is celebrating growing up?

Not trying to criticize here or anything but you think that celebrating like they do in football is "mature"? Because I understood that you think they need to grow up and celebrate instead of acting as gentlemen, and good sports. This is just my opinion but how is celebrating growing up?

i'm not saying that celebrating is growing up. I'm just saying that when someone celebrates, the opponent takes it personal. That's what they need to grow up on. Just because someone celebrates it doesn't mean that he is showboating. Something that a lot of baseball player take personal.

When i used to play baseball, and the opponent celebrated something, i din't take it personal. I just said "I'll get him next time" (not in the "hit him" way) but get a hit against him, and then steal the base. stuff like that.

I did think it was hilarious that the pitcher, catcher, and even the batter started leaving.

They had a high behind the plate camera that showed the whole infield trotting 10-15 feet towards the dugout before stopping in their tracks. I'd like to see a shot if the outfield. Probably had their heads down coming in too, it was that obvious.

Back to back at bats with Oakland getting pissed at the umpire, then the Mariners side getting pissed at him. At least he's consistently terrible, so he's got that going for him, which is nice.
