Re: Feds have ALL steroid test results
I'd really like to know the 100% truth in regards to whether Bonds used steroids or not...
To look at that guy in the early 90's and compare his physique to the man he is now.. The difference is really striking.
Bonds in 1991:
Modern Bonds:
It's easy to assume he did use steroids to get there, but I'd really like to have the 100% truth regarding whether he did or not, and also how long he has been using for, if in fact he did.
Regarding the list being leaked.. I think that if it was leaked, it would in fact cause a sort of hysteria, just because we are talking about so many players and their results.. Then again, I think it would be unlikely this list would be leaked, seeing that the FBI possesses it.. But then again.. maybe not.Comment

Re: Feds have ALL steroid test results
1991 was over 10 years ago.
What most people are forgetting is that BALCO is also a supplements lab. They don't specialize in steroids.
I'm not defending that Barry didn't use steroids and I'm also not stating that he did. All I'm saying is that people are overlooking the obvious.
BALCO specializes in supplements. Barry obviously worked with BALCO to some extent because his trainer was an employee at BALCO.
Isn't it possible that maybe Barry Bonds was weightlifting and using legal supplements to make himself big?
And these people that say, "You can't get that big at the age of 37!" Yes you can. MOST people can't get that big at 37, but when you have a personal trainer that works for a huge supplement lab then it's very possible you can get that big at the age of 37.
I know that won't change people's minds, but it really makes no sense to me that people are jumping the gun and stating that Barry uses steroids because of how big he is now (as if other people aren't that big) and because a picture in the beginning of his career suggests that he is using steroids."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
