          Quick, your bitterness is showing.

Glad Teheran pulled through. Utley had me nervous.

The Cubs have been known to have that type of talent.

Regarding the D'Backs.....They might as well call up Archie Bradley. At least it'll give the fans something to watch rather than this inexplicable collapse.

Aside from waiting to start his service clock, I can't think of a reason why they shouldn't. Their staff is the worst in the league in nearly every category

The Ayatollah Julio Teheran. I love watching him pitch. Man was he on tonight. And it's incredible poise for him to get out of that game with Rollins on second and Utley up. Credit to Fredi for not pulling him and letting him work through it too.

Red Sox @ White Sox has crossed the midnight local time standard for weird baseball.

There's a position player (Leury Garcia) pitching

Boston wins 6-4. That was anti-climatic

Watching the Athletics / Angels game - currently 2:25 am (east coast time - yeah, I should be heading to bed). Bottom of the 12th and tied at 4.

Weird stat of the day that was mentioned...

5 shutouts today. Of all the games played, no team scored more than 6 runs. Finally a day for the pitchers... Cueto was unbelievable. Tanaka was outstanding (of the 2 I actually got to watch today).

(NOTE: while typing this, the Angels win 5-4 on an Ianetta solo HR).

The Twins started playing the double-header. Not sure about the Jays.

Considering most of the Jays top players come from warm climates it isn't surprising. I thought after the Twins gave the HP umpire grief on the strikeout early in the game to end a threat that Dickey got squeezed in. There were a ton of pitches in the 4th that looked like strikes to the naked eye and on the pitch tracker that were called balls.

Oh well...Hopefully the Jays can win the night cap.

BTW this was the coldest temperature to start a game in Minnesota Twins history.
