Break up the Mets, 4 in a row

I saw most of the game and Lieter looked pretty good tonight. Howe even let him go 8 innings and they ended up being strong. Piazza looked great too. The offense still isn't very threating, Phillips has gotta batting about .150 and Cameron either Homers or Strikes out. But winning 4 in a row with the lineup they've had to use is pretty good. Maybe when Floyd and Reyes(hopefully) get healthy the offense will pick up

The offense still isn't very threating, Phillips has gotta batting about .150 and Cameron either Homers or Strikes out. But winning 4 in a row with the lineup they've had to use is pretty good. Great job by the Mets.. 4 game sweep, they pitched to Bonds tonight.. last night was great also.. ps - i have a new opinion of Karim Garcia.. great guy.. came over & signed some autographs in between innings yesterday.. poor Leiter though - 1 win in 6 starts..

also hate to bring some bad news, but it appears Howe wont last after the season.. just read in Sports Weekly mag that several sources close to the Mets say he's a gonner after the season..

i dont think thatll be the case, a- look what hes had to work with, b hes not even settled in yet, the reorginization just started so if he leaves i think itll be on his own terms not a firing.
