Me too, I would've left McGowan in after that double. It seems Gibbons always goes into the 6th inning thinking "if anybody gets a hit on my starter i'm gonna go to the pen" it's FRUSTRATING!

I mean, I know he threw 92 pitches but still, let's see him try to get out of it. Who knows maybe he could've gotten at least a couple quick outs.

Finally saw the clip of what you're talking about. That's dude is unreal.

The sport needs more of these guys. Supreme talent, has the game in his head, and has a **** ton of fun playing it.

You guys in Florida have a treat to watch every 5 days.

There's so much I could say about that but i'll just shake my head and laugh to myself. Yankees fans have ZERO room to do that.

Was reading Hardball Talk late tonight and thought this summed it up nicely:

Yankee Bleacher Creatures ripping someone for selling out while they do the silly roll calls thing or whatever it is to Jacoby Ellsbury, Brian McCann and any number of other dudes the Yankees have bought over the years is very, very special. But then again, the world is made for people who aren’t cursed with self-awareness.

Rangers/A's series kicks off tonight with Darvish/Gray. I think the Rangers should take at least 2 out of 3 from Oakland.

That "should at least" didn't work out so well did it?

A's outscore Rangers 25-4 in the sweep.
