Batting 3rd for the Mets, RFielder.....

    Carlos Beltran?

You guys think managment should try to get Beltran? Maybe give up Kazmir? Beltrán is a stud. He plays CF, but i'm sure he can play RF. He has a good arm.

If the Royals don't get better, analyst say he could be.
They are 11-24, 11 games out of 1st in the AL Central.

Thing is, I'm pretty sure the Yankees would stick their nose if he's available.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post"> They definitely will trade him if they're out fo the Central race by the end of june. But i think we can put the rumor that he'll be a yankee this season to rest. The Yankees cannot offer anything that the Royals could want. Their farm system is virtually non-existent and the Royals sure as hell don't want any of the overpriced contracts for any of the good yankee starters. The yankees will be a front runner of the bidding when he's a free agent in the offseason, no doubt, but there are a lot more teams in better position to deal for him this season.

Ahh, so he would basically be a rental for the rest of the season. I wouldn't put any of our top prospects in that kind of deal unless Beltran signs an extension before the trade.
