Rangers lose another game and another pitcher. Martin Perez, partially torn UCL. Could be out 3 months or a year depending on what he decides to do.

Somewhat disappointed in Goose's outing, but it's hard to expect much when you're going up against Verlander and the Tigers. Kinda thrown to the wolves in that regard.

I was all set to jump on Gausman for again not being able to make it through the line-up the 2nd and 3rd times, like he struggled with last year, but for going on 3 days rest, and throwing nothing but fastballs in the first inning to get guys out I think he did an admirable job against the Tigers.

Seriously, what happened to BJ Upton? I know he's always had his faults but he is just atrocious now. I don't think I could watch him play everyday without tearing my hair out.

Watch his swing…WAY to many moving parts. It amazes me that a major league team can let a guy hit like that. Tonight Chip Carey stated that Upton has had a strikeout problem lately…and I thought ya, like for 7 years.

Man, I'm so proud of drew Hutchison tonight. He pitched lights out for his first CG shutout. He was VERY aggressive with his pitching and the Jays got enough done to get the W thanks to a rally started by a Kratz bunt single.
