My favorite scheduling goof was pointed out on TBS the other day:
The Montreal Expos are playing the Toronto Blue Jays on July 1. That happens to be Canada Day (similar to July 4 in the US in terms of importance). So of course it makes sense that the two Canadian teams would play each other.
Except that the game is in Puerto Rico“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment

The Montreal Expos are playing the Toronto Blue Jays on July 1. That happens to be Canada Day (similar to July 4 in the US in terms of importance). So of course it makes sense that the two Canadian teams would play each other.
