Great to see Jays bounce back this weekend and split a series they probably should've won 3-4 games.

Gonna be an interesting June for sure. 55-49 record from here on out could very well make playoffs!

Crazy thing to see...This time last year, all but 1 team in AL East(Jays) had 30+ wins. This year, all but 1 team(Jays) have less than 30 wins.

The Sawx can't lay down and die damnit!

I blame Yunel Escobar for waking them up.

So Marlon Byrd broke his bat on a swing and miss today. Damn. Never seen that before.

I told my dad the same thing today, I said I thank Escobar for awakening the giant. Your blue jays I swear hit at least 3 hrs every game

I LALB when I saw this write up on Roto today after yesterday's Phillies debacle:

Phillies recalled RHP Phillippe Aumont from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Aumont has struck out 26 over 24 innings at Lehigh Valley this season, but he's also walked 21 while posting a 4.12 ERA. He'll be used in low-leverage situations.

                  Singleton called up and extended.

TUESDAY: Passan has the year-to-year breakdown of Singleton's contract (Twitter link). He will earn $1.5MM this season and $2MM per year from …

I wouldn't care if I never saw Aumont in a Phillies uniform ever again. As soon as he came in the game yesterday I knew he was gonna blow it. I would have bet my paycheck on it.

Guy will be nothing but Triple-A filler is whole career. He has a piss poor attitude too.

Even with over 100 games left to be played, it's really Jays playoff spot to lose. They don't even need to keep up their current pace to make playoffs. .500 from now on would be 86 win total, and 90 is what I see being playoff number.

Yes, they are in first…but, wow…lots of baseball to be played. I remember in 2007 the Braves started hot and I thought "wow, all they need to do is play 66-60 baseball the rest of the way to win 90". They went 60-66 and missed the playoffs. Long season ahead…

On another note, Kyle Seager with your demonstration of why the cycle is overrated - 2 triples, a double, and a homer. ESPN radio was bemoaning the fact that one of the triples wasn't just a single…I think he'd rather have the triple.

Ya, and if any team in any sport were to struggle after starting so good, it'd be a Toronto team. Already proven by numerous Jays teams in the past, and most recently,Leafs in NHL this past season.

This kind of talk is too much of a jinx!

That's why I'm not going to be sure of anything until the Jays have a Magic Number.
