    Re: 6/2 - 6/8 Game Discussion Thread

The Phillies 6 game losing streak and the Rays 10 game losing streak is over! Phils shutout the Reds 8-0 and the Rays shutout the Mariners 4-0.

    Hamels was borderline unhittable tonight.

The Blue Jays are bucking so many recent trends this season it's scary. This was one of those games where they left a TON of guys on base which usually means a loss in years past. This year though, they did just enough and the pitching closed the door on the Cards.

I dunno man, is this real life? LOL

lol, Jays had bases loaded, 0 outs and then got into a triple play. Despite that...they still won.

They now have 6 game lead in division. 2nd largest AL East lead at this point in the season since 1999.

Heyward had a game tonight that was very much like what I expect of him.

Cliff Lee always has something on his hat too. I'm pretty sure it's just rosin though.

While Kimbrel has still been amazing this year, it seems every time he walks anyone we get nailed.

Wish Freddie would sub for Gattis in the late innings…he's brutal back there.

Well..that sucked. At least the Marlins and Nats both lost.

I haven't gotten to see Verlander pitch yet this year, but looking at his stats and holy crap…has the guy fallen off the table or what? His K rate is way down, his walk rate up, and he's getting hit pretty hard. Curious to see if he bounces back...
