    6/30 - 7/13 Game Discussion Thread

Man, can't believe the third month of the season is already ending.

This thing goes way too fast.

    *sigh*

The Dodgers have erased a 9 game deficit in 21 days. NL West is about to get interesting and there are rumors they are trying to acquire David Price.

Taijuan Walker making his season debut tonight against the Astros. Definitely gonna need him to step up strong so that Erasmo Ramirez never has a chance to come back.

Arrieta is doing it AGAIN. After getting into the 7th against the Reds with a perfecto (before losing it), he has 7 no-hit innings in the books against Boston at Fenway. 6 MORE OUTS!!!

Carlos Zambrano has the only one of "those" for the Cubs in my lifetime (2008). You have to go back to 1972 to find one before that (2 of them, actually).

LOL. Of all the people to get the first hit in this lineup, it's Stephen Drew. I wanted Arrieta to keep his no-hitter, so it serves to be a wake up call for our horrid offense.

Welp. Arrieta is going to get one sooner or later. At least we won't have to go up to ~140 pitches to find out this time.

Yeah, of course I'm disappointed in him losing the no no, but he was going to have to throw a TON of pitches to get it.

Just get the win....and a first pitch pop up helps.
