Hopefully Heyward can get back into the lineup for tomorrow (tonight, I guess). I wouldn't want to go and not see him. He was playing well before the tweak too.

I went to a Braves/Dodgers game in 2010 and Heyward went like 0-5 with 5 K or something. Yeesh.

According to Gordon Edes. Cespedes will be playing RF and Allen Craig will be in LF. Boagerts back to SS and Middlebrooks at 3B

Any trade value Cliff Lee had left is now gone. Just left his start against the Nationals pointing to his elbow saying "I'm done."

I latched on to the Orioles from last year as someone to pull for in the playoffs (hopefully). Come on in, the water's fine.


Additionally, if Lee is done for the year, then the Buchanan kid gets to come back up and do some prep work for next year.

Tyler Skaggs just left the game with a forearm issue, he had not allowed a hit through 4 2/3.

I latched on to the Orioles from last year as someone to pull for in the playoffs (hopefully). Come on in, the water's fine.


Additionally, if Lee is done for the year, then the Buchanan kid gets to come back up and do some prep work for next year.

I'm a Rays fan too and holding out hope they can make a run this year still, but it will be really tough after losing David Price. I'll definitely be watching Oakland in the playoffs though.

When Michael Saunders comes off the DL the Mariners are expected to DFA either Corey Hart or Endy Chavez. It's rumored that Hart will be the odd man out.

Phillies trade deadline rumors for weeks. Deadline passes and the Phillies have 17 hits and 10 runs tonight against the Nationals even after losing Cliff Lee. I'd say they are more relaxed now that it has passed.

Ken Giles is soon going to be a pitcher more people are talking about. Kid's a stud on the mound. Phillies closer of the future for sure.
