the first time that this has happened to the Braves since the team was in Boston.

To make matters worse, our next 3 opponents are all first placed teams: Washington, Los Angeles, and Oakland

John Gibbons sucks.

Hutchison heading into the 9th had a 1 hitter going(that 1 hit was a HR). No need to warm up any pitchers cause Hutchison will pitch rest of game,especially with 4 run lead. So the first 2 batters...he strikes them out. Then walks Markakis. Then Gibbons quickly comes out of the dugout and replaces Hutchison even though there was just 1 out away from a complete game AND nobody was even warming up in the bullpen!

Gibbons seems to have the same mentality that Felipe Alou always had whenever his pitchers were going for a no-hitter or something very close to that. As soon as the opposing team got a hit no matter how late in the game he'd pull him out.

Anyways, that was the kind of start Hutch needed to have and it came at a HUGE time for the Jays. It was also nice to see Bautista come through in the clutch tonight after the last little while of coming up very small.

Good win by the Jays, let's hope it can be the start of another nice little run.
