Well Chris Perez is who we thought he was. He makes Brandon League look like a Cy Young candidate.

I think it's a pretty clear rule and is easy to distinguish. However, I don't think it is needed and we should go back to being without it for the sake of the game. It's just slowing games down too much and not really preventing anything. Like just now, Mattingly challenged the play at the plate when it was as clear as day a legal play, yet the game is stalled. It's just dumb.

            Yes it is.

I gave it chance, but yesterday was it for me after the call in the White Sox/Giants game. The identical play happened in the New York/Washington game, one was called out, one was called safe.

It also seems like every close play at the plate is getting reviewed, and it's really a toss up to what the outcome will be. There is no consistency, and hasn't been all season.

2nd night in a row that the Rays are just pounding out home runs against the Rangers.

I would have never thought the Rangers would have the record they do at this time of the year. Already lost more games than they did all of last year. I don't think I've ever seen a team riddled with more injuries either.

Still holding out hope that the Rays can at least make a push for the Wild Card spot this year.

It's Zombie night at Turner Field tonight. Seems an appropriate promotion given the current state of the team.

The Sox realized they were playing the Disastros, scored 7 runs in the 6th on their way to a 9-4 win.

NL Central is there for the taking. Brewers, Cards, Pirates, or Reds hot streak could cement the division. Seems they are all playing .500 ball lately.

Cano's power outage seems to be gone. Most consistent hitter in baseball imo, you get everything from that guy. The Yankees miss him dearly.
