He hit a hanging breaking ball onto the concourse in left center, one bounce and it hits that giant window that shows the skyline in Miami.

Over the back, green wall, in LCF.. more CF than LF. I'm guessing it was 490+ ft.

Machado just hurt his knee at home plate. His back leg just gave out on him as he swung. Ouch. He's leaving the game.

Same leg that he previously injured?

EDIT: Nope, he injured his left knee last year

Sorry I had no idea where to post this, got a problem with MLB.tv. Everytime I watch a game 'Shockwave Flash' seems to just crash after like 2 minutes of viewing, anyone else had this problem?

This team can't beat the Dodgers. Routine double play? Nope, let's drop the ball. Good job Bravos at being the least consistent team in the majors. Sure they have talent. Not any team can lose 8 games straight, 10 games straight, 7 games straight, all in the same season and still be in the wild card and division race, but jeez, they can't play consistent baseball and are paying for it. I honestly believe they have the talent to be a great team, but it isn't coming together and I don't understand why. Bleh, I'm going to lose all of my hair this season. If they actually played consistent as a team more often, they wouldn't be stuck where they are. They are easily better than their record, but at the same time they aren't. There is a reason your record and performance is what it is. Maybe I am just biased and think they are better than they are, but I just feel they have a solid roster that should generate more wins than it does, but something is not clicking. Maybe it's Fredi, I don't know.

Now defense is also falling apart. And Gattis is showing how terrible of a defensive catcher he is with 989 passed balls this game alone. This team is just annoying. The potential is there, but it's being reach for 5 days a month and that's it.

We should play the Braves every other week.

This line up will make every pitcher look good. Apparently they don't realize that they generally win whenever they are patient. The only inning they scored in tonight they had 2 or 3 full counts. Other than that they've swing at everything.

The braves are just flat out terrible. I personally don't even think they have the potential to be a great team. You can't be a world series contender when you only have one solid starter. Yes the starting pitching has been surprisingly solid this year considering all the injuries, but i wouldn't trust anyone but Teheran in a playoff series. We don't have a hitter that can hit over .300. Freddie could but i feel he's trying to do too much to make up for the rest of the team. Home runs are fun to watch and all but you can't be a contender when thats the only way you can score run. Their bullpen is terrible besides Kimbrel, and outside of Heyward and Simmons their defense is pretty poor as well. Also Fredi is just not cutting it, i wonder when they will consider firing him. I love watching the braves, but its very hard for me to keep watching them the way that they play. IMO id rather have a bunch of guys that could hit .300 all year long and get on base and not hit that many home runs, than a team that is capable of having 4 guys that can hit 25 home runs a year, but strike out 200 times a year. Maybe get a new hitting coach as well.

Sorry for my rant, i'm just very frustrated with this team, which i'm sure all braves fans are.

There's too many Canadians at Safeco Field right now!!!

But seriously, awesome crowd tonight for the matchup. So damn cool having some relevant baseball being played this late in the season at Safeco.
