Manny Ramierez...no class
Did you hear about the crap that Manny Ramierez pulled the other day? Apparently, the Red Sox were honoring a little league team by havign the kids run out onto the field at Fenway to their positions along with the Red Sox player at that position (SS went with Nomar, etc). Ramierez refused to do it! He showed up a freaking 12 year old kid, who had to run out to left field all by himself! It's things like this that have made me even less interested in baseball.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackTags: None -

Re: Manny Ramierez...no class
he did get fined recently for not running to first base. He hit a grounder to the pitcher I think, he just turned and started walking back to the dug out.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

yeah, anybody that does that, deserves to be fined. as for manny standing up the little kid, that's just selfish and I feel sorry for the kid.Comment

Re: Manny Ramierez...no class
I know I joined this thread a little late.. but Manny didn't want to run out with the kid because he was too busy getting "high high high.. every day."

Re: Manny Ramierez...no class
He is indeed a punk. The Latin Harpo Marx with that freaking fright wig he had on his head the second half of the season. I heard that he stayed in the dugout for the moment of silence on the field on the anniversary of 9-11.
Also, he questioned the placement of a giant number six out in left field when the Sox put a 9 out there to honor Ted Williams.
That didn't really happen but it could have. He's a tool and a poison for a team that doesn't need any poison.Comment
