Re: 9 in a row for the Devil Rays? Is that correct?
Devil Rays... I had a feeling they weren't going to be easy when they came into San Diego... and I was right. What this team is putting together is just amazing considering the talent they have. Their outfield did a nice job the two televised games I saw, turning what would be sure extra-base hits to routine outs. I think Lou Pinella (spelling) might be right about the D-Rays not finishing last.Comment

I don't know what is more amazing, the fact that TB is in 3rd or the fact that after the O's go out and get Tejada, Lopez, Palmeiro and have Mora on fire and they are in dead last still.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: 9 in a row for the Devil Rays? Is that correct?
For people here in Tampa its great to finally see this team doing something positive after years of just miserable teams with overpaid, useless talent like Ca$tilla who did nothing and then complained about being benched, Wil$on Alvarez who made 7 million a year for 5 years on the DL, and Ben Grieve who got his paycheck and just did nothing. Now theyve got young talent that has actually developed and are actual players like Baldelli, Crawford, and Huff. Huff's slump was a major reason why they were 10-36. Crawfotd has been a big part of this streak because hes been hitting well. The main thing about their streak is anybody in the lineup is stepping up with key hits. Not to mention the pitching staff is actually looking decent. I'm not expecting wild card but things can only get better for this franchise with Pinella running the show, the young talent along with Upton coming up through the system, and better pitching. Optimistically this team could be in the playoffs in 3-4 years.MLB: Rays
NCAA: Michigan and Florida
NFL: 49ers
NHL: Lightning and DucksComment
