I LOVE baseball…I don't care that it was the Nats, that was special. I know the playoffs are starting, but it isn't the same…this is always one of the saddest days of the year for me. 135 days until pitchers/catchers report!

Damn do people hate the Nat's that much? nobody on here seems to give a damn, that was one of the greatest catches of all time to preserve that no hitter.

I was watching…just not posting as it happened. Most people are probably watching NFL (blah). Haven't had an NFL game on all day yet…all baseball. Just need Kimbrel to nail this down and secure 2nd place in the East.

Yea, I switched over from the Nfl to that game, saw the alert, and the sequence of events that happened there was incredible. Matt Williams made a good decision with Souza lol.

I was watching Taylor in CF and thought it was a sure fire double…then Souza out of no where made the catch. Just awesome.

Braves finish off the Phillies 2-1 and secure at least a share of 2nd place. Typical Braves game though…3 hits and 2 runs in the first, not a single hit after that.

Rangers missed a real opportunity to score there against Oakland, two men on, no outs, and they somehow managed to not even get one across.

Damn, Oakland wins, Seattle is eliminated.

I feel bad for King Felix and that group, Oakland really doesn't deserve it, the way they played down the stretch. But it is what it is.

I agree, the A's played like crap down the stretch but the Mariners weren't that much better

That much is true, Oakland did have some injuries, but I wanted Seattle in.
