    Re: Sox get Freddy!

Ive been lucky enought to get to a few Knights games this season to watch Jeremy Reed play, this guys going to be a star in the major leagues someday. If I was the White Sox GM, this would be the one guy I would not part with but Im not the White Sox GM.

What I really want to know is why do the White Sox ask for a stiff like Ben Davis also, that guy just flat sucks, he has had plenty of chances to win the starting job from Wilson(right guy?) and he puts up even worse numbers, not a good pickup IMO

Only thing I can think of is maybe they think he needs a change of scenery? This guy has been "loaded with potential", but he has done nothing in the bigs. He is still young, 27, and he was the #2 pick overall just nine seasons ago.

With that said, I am so glad to see him out of Seattle. This guy has been a bust ever since coming here and has done nothing to earn time over Dan Wilson at all.

      Again, great move Mariners.

Because I would rather take the A's, Cubs, Marlins, Astros, Yankees, Phillies, and Red Sox top three than the White Sox top three.

But that doesn't mean the White Sox top three isn't good. It is very good. Garcia has been amazing this season. Just been loosing games because of the Mariners poor offense.

I didn't say it was better, I just said it could go. Meaning that on any given night, the White Sox top 3 starters could beat any of the top 3 in the Majors. Including those you listed. Now I wouldn't pick them over some other teams, but their rotation is definitely their strong point now.

You guys won't be disapointed with Garcia.

Nasty slider, nasty changeup, nasty curveball. He's clutch in the playoffs and he looks like his old self.

And he is your best pitcher, no doubt.

I'm very surprised by such a good deal.

We should call up Reed now, and put him in left. I read that Miguel is really really mad, which is always no fun but he gives us a catcher that can actually throw.

                        And big Ben is gone.
