    Another Trivia Thread

OK, it's time for yet another baseball trivia thread.

Here are the first questions, and I think they're pretty tough:

#1 - What two players hold the single-season record for home runs hit by a first and third baseman on the same team?

#2 - What is the maximum number of pitches that can be thrown to a batter, in one official at-bat, whithout walking, striking out, or hitting a foul ball? Give justification with your answer. (This is trickier than it seems)

#3 - What player hit 20 home runs and stole 50 bases one season, and later in his career hit 50 home runs and stole 20 bases another season?

#4 - Name three players who have hit 20 home runs in a season with 5 different teams.

#5 - Who is the only player to hit more than 50 home runs and strike out less than 50 times in a season?

    Re: Another Trivia Thread

    Just total guesses:

    1. Chipper Jones and Andres Galarraga, 1998. Probably not the answer, but I know Chipper hit 30-something that year, and Galarraga hit 44.

    2. 6? 3 balls, 2 strikes and the batter puts the ball in play on the 6th pitch.

    3. Brady Anderson?

    4. Fred McGriff, Jose Canseco, Reggie Sanders.

    5. Joe Dimaggio?

These 2 are correct. Nice job with #3, especially. There are at least 3 more answers to #4, if anyoen else wants to give it a shot.

                1. I don't really understand this question. I'll guess Fernando Tatis and Mark McGwire.

                2. No idea, I'd guess 6, but that is wrong.

                4. Todd Zeile, Ruben Sierra, Dave Kingman?

                5. Lou Gehrig

Ugh, Gehrig had 49 homers and 31 strikeouts, and 49 homers and 46 strikeouts another year, so close.
